Playing California Fantasy 5 is simple. What’s more, there’s a chance to play every night of the week. Follow the steps below to take part:
You are required to choose five numbers from 1 to 39 to play Fantasy 5 in California. You can either select your own or mark the Quick Pick option if you’d prefer a random set. Use the Number Generator if you’re looking for inspiration.
You don’t just have to enter the next draw. You can make sure you don’t miss out on future draws by playing up to 12 in a row. Mark how many consecutive draws you want to enter in the Advance Play box on your slip.
It costs $1 per entry to play Fantasy 5. Make sure you get your entries in before the cut-off time for ticket sales at 6:30pm. Sales reopen for the next draw at 6:35pm.
The nightly draws take place just after 6:30pm. Once you have got your entries in, you can sit back until the winning numbers are selected. Use the Fantasy 5 Checker to find out if you are a winner.
The Fantasy 5 jackpot always starts somewhere between $60,000 and $80,000. If nobody matches all five numbers, it rolls over to the next draw and an even bigger amount will be made available. With draws every night, the jackpot can grow quickly and it has previously reached as much as $935,000.
You also win prizes for matching two, three or four of the winning numbers. The Match 2 prize is a free ticket, while the remaining categories receive a percentage of the prize fund.
