To play Fantasy 5 in Florida, you must select five numbers from 1 to 36. Make sure to purchase your tickets before the next drawing. Here’s what else you need to know.
The drawings take place at 1:05pm and 11:15pm every day. The cut-off time for purchasing tickets is 12:45pm for the midday draw, and 10:55pm for the evening draw, and if you don’t get your entries in by the deadline you will instead be entered into the next available draw.
If you’re not sure which numbers to play, or just want the fastest method to take part, you can mark the Quick Pick box and a random set will be generated by the computer. Alternatively, choose your own numbers from 1 to 36.
You can enter multiple sets on your playslip if you want to boost your chances of winning, and also enter up to 30 days (60 draws) in advance to make sure you don’t miss out. It costs $1 per play to take part.
You can also win prizes with EZmatch when you buy your Fantasy 5 tickets. For an extra $1 per play, add the EZmatch option and check your entry as soon as it has been printed. It may be that you can claim $500 prize instantly.
You only need to match two numbers out of five to win a Florida Fantasy 5 prize. The more you match, the greater the value of the prize. If you get all five the same as the winning numbers, the jackpot is yours.
The top prize is estimated to be around $200,000 and the main attraction of Fantasy 5 is that it has to be won. There are no rollovers. If no tickets match all five numbers, the jackpot money rolls down and is shared between players in the 4-of-5 prize level. The maximum that winners in this second category can receive is $555 each, so if necessary some of the jackpot money may also roll down to the 3-of-5 winners.

If you add the EZmatch option for an additional $1, five random numbers will also be generated on the lower portion of your ticket. Each one will be assigned a cash value. If any of the numbers you selected for the Fantasy 5 draw are the same as the EZmatch numbers on your ticket, you win the corresponding prize amount. You can claim your money instantly, although if you do it before the Fantasy 5 draw the retailer will have to provide you with a continuation ticket.
